Mary Ann Newis

Mary Ann was born in 1844 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England.¹ Mary Ann's father was James Newis and her mother was Dorothy Lambert. Her paternal grandparents were James Newis and (Unknown) (Newis); her maternal grandparents were Christopher Lambert and Ann (Lambert). She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Mary Ann and Hannah. She was the oldest of the four children.
