Hannah Mary Newis

Hannah Mary was born in June 1875 in Brighouse, Halifax, Yorkshire, England.¹ Hannah Mary's father was Jospeh Newiss and her mother was Eleanor Foggett. Her paternal grandparents were William Newis and Ursula Kitson. She had a brother and a sister, named Joseph Edward and Cordelia Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the three children.
