Elen Newhouse

Elen was born in 1846 in Claughton, Lancashire, England.¹ Elen's father was William Newhouse and her mother was Margaret Cornthwaite. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Newhouse and Ellen (Newhouse). She had a brother and two sisters, named Edward, Alice and Ann. She was the oldest of the four children.
