Annie Grace was born in 1877 in Aughton, Lancashire, England.¹ Annie Grace's father was Edward Newhouse and her mother was Margaret Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were John Newhouse and Betsey (Newhouse). She had two brothers and a sister, named John Allan, Richard and Mary Ada. She was the third oldest of the four children.
