Fred Holgate

Fred was born in 1880 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Fred's father was Christopher Holgate and his mother was Mary Ann Petty. His maternal grandparents were John Petyt and Margaret Fawcett. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Arthur, Samuel, Annie, Maud, Edith, Ida and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
