James and Mary were married (further details are not known). They had two sons and a daughter, named James, David and Hilda.

Male James Mitchell Alexander
James was born in 1868 in England.  He died at the age of 71 on October 18th, 1939 in Brechin.1 

Female Mary  Walker
Mary  was born in 1860.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, TB, at the age of 61 on May 25th, 1921 in 5 a Hill Street Montrose.

James was born on April 22nd, 1897 in Bervie Kincardineshire.

Male David Alexander
David was born on May 23rd, 1898 in Bervie Kincardineshire.

Female Hilda Mary  Alexander
Hilda was born on September 23rd, 1900 in Bervie Kincardineshire.  She died  due to Stomach Haemorage at the age of 69 in 1969 in Montrose.
