János was born in 1921.  János' father was József Szalma and his mother was Veronika Hajnal.  His paternal grandparents were Pál Szalma and Rozália Juliska .... He had three brothers and a sister, named István, József, Mihály and Rozália.  He died at the age of 24 in 1945.
