Claranne's father is Robert Clarence Lane and her mother was Permelia Beaula McClellan.  Her paternal grandparents were Ed Lane and Anna; her maternal grandparents were James Dixon McClellan and Clara May.  She is the fourth of five children.  She had three brothers and a sister, named Danny, Bob Jr, David and Linda.
