John David Stobbart

John David was born on May 26th, 1937 in 4 Falconwood Av, Welling, Kent. John David's father was Winifred Elizabeth Bell and his mother was Fredrick Henry Stobbart. His maternal grandparents were John Henry Stobbart and Mary Elizabeth Margaretta (Lily) Land. He has a sister named Sheila Mary. He is the younger of the two children.

  Joined the army for three years instead of National service. Spent his army time as a bandsman in the Grenadier Guards. Attended Paris Convervatoir of Music.
  Joined the Philamonia Orchestra where he played the viola. Had to give up the orchestra due to titinus.
  Went into antique furniture restoration.
  Lived at Harrow after marriage, then Pinner, and now at Dorchester
