    Worked passage back to UK on seismic survey ship Seislim, as an engineer apprentice.
    Trained at Vindicatrix training school, for catering in Merchant Navy, July, August 1956
    After returning to UK, lived at 100 Palmerston Rd, Palmers Green, with U.George & A.Gertie, then St Peters Street, St Albans, before marriage & moving to Edinburgh in 1967.
    Worked for P&O for six months, and Shell Tankers for 30 years. (with one year out, with Port Line) rising through the ranks from Catering Boy to Catering Officer, left the sea in 1987
    Started business (Pittas Pastries) with Mary, 11 years, till 1998.
    Worked for Semi-Chem as stock controller from 1999 till retirement in 2004.
    First addresss in Edinburgh, 30 Falkland Gardens, Corstorphine, till December 1975,
    then 2 Buckstone Rise, Fairmilehead till April 1998, then 11 Stoneyflatts, South Queensferry till April 2006, latterley at 41.111.111. Dalgety Bay, Fife.
