  • [Sheather.FTW] Ellen Sheather was employed by the Macarthur family at "Camden Par k" as a housemaid from about the middle 1850's until she married in January 1857. It seems she was well liked by the family and appears to have be en very friendly with Elizabeth Macarthur, granddaughter of John Macarthu r. It was this Elizabeth Macarthur who signed the marriage certificate, al ong with Ellen's father Henry Sheather as witnesses to her marriage with J ohn Sanderson on 24th January 1857.
