Joan Sargeant

Joan was born in 1926 in Yorkshire, England. Joan's father is Henry Sargeant and her mother is Amy Whitehead. Her maternal grandfather is William Whitehead and her maternal grandmother was Isabella Cockshott. She has a brother named Ernest. She is the younger of the two children.

General Notes
- Joan was married to John Henry Bonham, Sr., who operated his father's construction company in Redditch, Worcestershire, J. H. Bonham & Son. To supplement the family income, Joan Bonham ran a newsagency business in Hunt End. A fan of big band music such as the Benny Goodman, and Harry James bands, she influenced John Bonham's musical upbringing.
  
  Joan Bonham, aged 81, had found fame herself in recent years as a lead vocalist with geriatric rockers The Zimmers.
