    Lt.-Col. Joseph Anthony Moore Phillips was born circa 1915.1 He is the son of Joseph Herbert Phillips and Dorothea Mary Land.1 He married Lady Katherine Mary Fitzalan-Howard, daughter of Henry Fitzalan-Howard, 15th Duke of Norfolk and Gwendoline Mary Herries, Baroness Herries of Terregles, on 7 June 1940.2 He died in June 1990.1
         Lt.-Col. Joseph Anthony Moore Phillips was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the King's Dragoon Guards.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Humberside.1 He lived at Lund House, Driffield, Yorkshire, East Riding, England.1

He married LADY KATHRINE MARY FITZALAN HOWARD June 7, 1940. She was born March 25, 1912 in Arundel Castle, West Sussex, and died 2000 in Aldingbourne Chichester, West Sussex.
