Dorothea (Flavia) Flavia Phillips

Dorothea, known as Flavia, was born on January 18th, 1913 in Warwickshire England. Flavia's father was Joseph Herbert Phillips and her mother was Dorothea Mary ( Dorrie ) Land. Her paternal grandparents were William Garside Phillips and Emma Grundy; her maternal grandparents were Col William Heny (Billy) Land and Kate Eliza Moore. She had two brothers named Tony and Peter William Garside. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 81 on March 25th, 1994 in Swindon.

General Notes
- Awarded MBE in recognition of her work in WW2. Was one of the driving forces behind Mark Phillips equestrian success and an enthussiastic breeder of Whippets!
