Albert, known as Albie, was born in 1872 in Ballycocksoost  Inistioge Co Kilkenny.  Albie's father was Henry Miller and his mother was Elizabeth Lodge.  His paternal grandfather is Matthew Miller and his paternal grandmother was Mary Flood. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Herny, William, Arthur, Hubert, Mary, Harriet, Bessie and Harritt.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 74 in 1946 in Ballycrue New Ross Co Wexford.
