Alfred George Tasker Land

Alfred George Tasker was born in 1870 in SOUTH SHIELDS Tyne and Wear England. Alfred George Tasker's father was William Frederick Land and his mother was Elizabeth Denham. His paternal grandparents were William Land and Elizabeth Birch. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Frederick, Charles Richard, Henry S, Lily, Annie Louisa and Edith Jane. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 96 in 1966 in Ponteland, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear. The funeral took place in Byker & Heaton Cemetery, Benton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne.

- in 1911 the family was living at 33 Armstrong Avenue, Heaton, Newcastle.
  He was working as a photo engraver on a newspaper.
