Ellen Towsend  Carr

    I have investigated George Taskers 2nd marriage, which took place in
    Scarborough Jamuary 1876.
    Ellen Towsend Carr was born in Camberwell, London 20 September 1848, father
    Thomas Winkworth Carr, she appears to have been living in an istitution by
    1861, notsure weather it was an orpanage or a workhouse. By 1871 she was a
    servant in Scarborogh.
    She certainly married in January 1876, in Scarbough, but I cant find a Ellen
    Townsend Land in the 1881 census.
