David Allen was born in January 1969.  David Allen's father is Clifford Eugene Sumner and his mother is Maxine Nelson.  His paternal grandparents were Arthur Sumner and Mildred; his maternal grandparents are Melvin Nelson and Minerva Lamb.  He has a brother named Darrin Eugene.  He is the younger of the two children.
