Edward was born on December 18th, 1933.  Edward's father was John Mrvan and his mother was Marcella Mendell.  His paternal grandparents were John Mrvan and Mary Uhrik; his maternal grandparents were John (Mendelova) Mendell and Mary Grusman.  He was the eighth of eleven children.  He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, Luke, Ernie, Joe, Mary, Anna, Helen, Irene, Amelia and Margaret.  Ernie and Edward were twins.  He died at the age of 67 on July 20th, 2001.
