Anna was born in 1915.  Anna's father was John Mrvan and her mother was Marcella Mendell.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mrvan and Mary Uhrik; her maternal grandparents were John (Mendelova) Mendell and Mary Grusman.  She was the second of eleven children.  She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Luke, Ernie, Edward, Joe, Mary, Helen, Irene, Amelia and Margaret.  She died by stillbirth or at birth.
