Developed scoliosis, had to wear a full body cast. Mother had three miscairrages for years before having Rhonda, they considered her a miracle child. She and Elaine are 9 years apart. They were raised very differently. She was babied much more. Elaine was more independent and "take charge" so didn't allow for that treatment.
Rhonda "relished it", and became very dependent. Never held a real job.
Married Fred Cohen, by all accounts very nice with a lovely family, albeit "goofy looking". X-Ray technician. Rhonda decided he should be a pharmacist. So he did. "Cried" about his relationship with her, to Rhonda's family. They were together maybe 5 years.
Met Artie Singer as a voice coach soon after, almost immeditely. Artie's wife was dying with cancer "there was a bit of overlap there." He was much older than Rhonda. They stayed together until his death but he was miserable.
Artie was an accomplished songwriter and was big into the night life at Atlantic City when it first began. The casinos gave out a lot of free stuff and VIP treatment to rope people in, and they were drawn in by the lifestyle.
It is safe to say they both became gambling addicts. By the end of his life Artie was deeply in debt.
Artie's children resent Rhonda greatly, likely because of the overlap of their relationship.
Now she lives alone in Valley Forge, subsists off social security and whatever she can get for free.
