Ursula (Ellen) Groves

Ursula, known as Ellen, was born in 1902 in Wandsworth, London, England. Ellen's father was Henry William Groves and her mother was Deborah (Ellen) Easter. Her paternal grandparents were William Henry Groves and Faithfull Caroline Croucher; her maternal grandparents were William Samuel Easter and Deborah Susannah. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Stanley, Reginald, Stanley, Gladys and Trilby. She was the youngest of the seven children.
