Lemuel Rufus Beene 
Lemuel was born in 1828. Lemuel's father was Lemuel Rufus Beene and his mother was Sarah (Sally) Beene. His paternal grandparents were Captain Robert Bean Sr. (Beene) and Martha (Womack) Beene. He had four brothers named William, Russell, Robert and Obediah. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 37 in 1865.-
