George  was born in 1863.  George 's father was Edwin  Cary Lucas and his mother was Jane Weekes.  His paternal grandparents were William Lucas and Charlotte Cary; his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He was the oldest of five children.  He had a brother and three sisters, named William, Annie, Jane  and Matilda.
