Blodwen was born in 1900.  Blodwen's father was Thomas  Jones and her mother was Sarah Ann Harrris.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard John Jones and Harriet Dyer; her maternal grandparents were Henry Harris and Ann Rees.  She was the third of eight children.  She had five brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Jack, Thomas, Glyn, George, Harriett and Jones.  She had a half-sister named Martha.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 85 in 1985.
