Annelyna was born in 1849 in Tythegston and was baptised there on July 8th, 1849.1   Annelyna's father was Richard John/Jones and her mother was Dinah Howell/s.  Her paternal grandparents were Hopkin John and Jennet Richard.  She was the youngest of ten children.  She had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Mary, David, Thomas, Charlotte, Hannah, Dinah, Catherine  and Sarah.
