Richard was born in 1799.  Richard's father was Hopkin John and his mother was Jennet Richard.  His paternal grandparents were Richard   John and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Morgan Richard and Jennet Jones.  He was the youngest of six children.  He had two brothers and three sisters, named William , John, Ann, Rebeckah and Jennet.  He died at the age of 75 on July 10th, 1874.
