Hannah was born in 1835 in Tythegston and was baptised there on July 19th, 1835.1   Hannah's father was Richard John/Jones and her mother was Dinah Howell/s.  Her paternal grandparents were Hopkin John and Jennet Richard.  She was the fifth of ten children.  She had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Mary, David, Thomas, Charlotte, Dinah, Catherine , Sarah and Annelyna.
