Ann was born in 1778 in Llansannor and was baptised there on June 1st, 1778.1   Ann's father was Hopkin John and her mother was Jennet Richard.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard   John and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Morgan Richard and Jennet Jones.  She was the oldest of six children.  She had three brothers and two sisters, named William , John, Richard, Rebeckah and Jennet.
