Willliam was born in 1805.  Willliam's father was Robert Gribble and his mother was Mary  Vater.  His paternal grandparents were Francis Gribble and Mary Hole; his maternal grandmother was Joan Gribble.  He was the third of four children.  He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert , Francis and Mary.  He died at the age of 32 in 1837.  His burial was on January 22nd, 1837 in Minehead.
