Florence  was born in 1899 in Pontypridd.1   Florence 's father was William  Granger and her mother was Annie Lucas.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Granger and Ann Vines; her maternal grandparents were Edwin  Cary Lucas and Jane Weekes.  She was the fourth of five children.  She had a brother and three sisters, named Robert, Anne, Jenny and Elizabeth.  She died from cancer at the age of 58 in 1957 in Llanharan.  Her burial was on May 3rd, 1957 in Llanharan Cemetry.2
