George Rees was born in 1834 in St. Brides Minor.1   George Rees' father was Robert  Rees and his mother was Gwenllian Lewis.  His paternal grandparents were George Rees and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He was the youngest of four children.  He had three sisters named Mary, Ann and Jane .
