Joseph was born in 1730 in Cutcombe and was baptised there on December 23rd, 1730.1   Joseph's father was William Edwards and his mother was Mary  Pope.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 85 on April 2nd, 1815 in Luxborough.  His burial was on April 2nd, 1815 in Luxborough.1 1
