Sarah was born in 1786 in Stogursey Somerset and was baptised there on April 26th, 1786.1   Sarah's father was Isaac Crane and her mother was Joan Rowe.  Her paternal grandparents were George Crane and Hannah Brewer.  She was the second of five children.  She had two brothers and two sisters, named George , Joseph, Hannah and Mary.
