Henry was born in 1745 in Luxborough and was baptised there on August 22nd, 1745.1   Henry's father was Henry Coles and his mother was Mary.  His paternal grandparents were John Coles and Joan Ridler.  He was the third of four children.  He had two brothers and a sister, named George, Thomas and Christian.
