Christopher's father was Thomas Coles and his mother was Agnes.  His paternal grandparents were Henry  Coles and Alice .  He was the youngest of nine children.  He had six brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Richard, William, Thomas , Nathaniel, John, Sarah and Joan.  He died in 1673 in Timberscombe.  His burial was on August 30th, 1673 in Timberscombe.1 1
