Christian was born in 1751 in Luxborough and was baptised there on June 6th, 1751.1   Christian's father was Henry Coles and her mother was Mary.  Her paternal grandparents were John Coles and Joan Ridler.  She was the youngest of four children.  She had three brothers named George, Thomas and Henry.
