William Walter Syrett

William was born in February 1901 in Lambeth, London.¹ William's father was Joseph James Syrett and his mother was Esther Lydia Prickett. His paternal grandparents were Joseph James Syrett and Sarah Mary Coveney; his maternal grandparents were James William Prickett and Esther Askey Wise. He had four brothers and a sister, named Henry, Terence, John James, James and Amelia. He was the youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry, John and Amelia.
