John Walker

John was born about 1826 in Co. Durham.¹ John's father was Richard Walker and his mother was Elizabeth. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Richard, Robert, Ralph and Elenor. He was the oldest of the six known children. He had eight half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Joseph, George, William, Edward, Anthony, Benjamin, Harrison, Margaret, Elizabeth and Jane.
