Bridget was born in 1878 in Mayo, Ireland.1  Bridget's father was ANTHONY STANTON and her mother was BRIDGET REILLY.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanton and Mary Stanton nee NK; her maternal grandparents are NK Reilly and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Anthony, John, John, (2) PATRICK, Thomas, Mary, Margaret, Mary and Catherine.  She was the eighth oldest of the ten known children.
