Richard McTAGGART

Richard was born about August 1868 in Westhoughton, Lancashire.¹ Richard's father was Andrew McGarvie McTaggart and his mother was Mary THOMASON. His paternal grandparents were James McTaggart and Margaret Gemmell; his maternal grandparents were Richard THOMASON and Ann Haslam. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Peter, Ann and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the five known children.
