William HIGSON

William was born about May 25th, 1822 in Bolton, Lancashire, England and his baptism took place on June 2nd, 1822 in St Mary's Deane, Bolton, Lancashire.¹ William's father was THOMAS HIGSON and his mother was MARY FOREST. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Higson and Esther Unknown. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Henry, Wright, Maria, Esther, MARY and Sarah. He was the nineth oldest of the ten known children.
