Maria HIGSON

Maria was born about December 1803 in Great Lever, Lancashire and her baptism took place on January 1st, 1804 in St Mary's Deane, Bolton, Lancashire.¹ Maria's father was THOMAS HIGSON and her mother was MARY FOREST. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Higson and Esther Unknown. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Henry, Wright, William, Esther, MARY and Sarah. She was the oldest of the ten known children.
