Matthew Doney

Matthew was born on April 29th, 1770 in North Hill, Cornwall.¹ Matthew's father was William Doney and his mother was Elizabeth Souther. His paternal grandparents were William Doney and Wilmot Truscott. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Peter, James, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 82 on January 18th, 1853 in North Hill, Cornwall.
