Emma was born about 1826 in Westhoughton, Lancashire.1   Emma's father was Joseph Coop and her mother is <Unknown>.  Her paternal grandfather is <Unknown> and her paternal grandmother was Ann Coop. She had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Martha.  She was the oldest of the three known children.  Emma is no longer alive.
