Isabella Beckwith

Isabella was born about 1857 in Black Hill, Co. Durham, England.¹ Isabella's father was Joseph Beckwith and her mother was Ruth Priestly. Her paternal grandparents were Cuthbert Beckwith and Jane Wanless; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Preistley and Elenor Preistley nee NK. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, John, William , Emerson, Eleanor, Jane and Frances. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
