Frances Beckwith

Frances was born about 1863 in Lanchester, Co. Durham.¹ Frances' father was Joseph Beckwith and her mother was Ruth Priestly. Her paternal grandparents were Cuthbert Beckwith and Jane Wanless; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Preistley and Elenor Preistley nee NK. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, John, William , Emerson, Eleanor, Jane and Isabella. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
