Mary Ann BOARDMAN

Mary was born about 1866 in Rumworth, Lancashire, England.¹ Mary's father was Ellis Boardman and her mother was Sarah HIGSON. Her paternal grandparents were Philip Boardman and Beatrix Boardman nee NK; her maternal grandparents were Henry HIGSON and Mary Heaton. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Ellen, John, Abraham, Beatrice, Lucy, Betsy and Frances. She was the second oldest of the eight children.
