Ellen BOARDMAN

Ellen was born about 1870 in Rumworth, Lancashire, England.¹ Ellen's father was Ellis Boardman and his mother was Sarah HIGSON. His paternal grandparents were Philip Boardman and Beatrix Boardman nee NK; his maternal grandparents were Henry HIGSON and Mary Heaton. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Abraham, Beatrice, Mary, Lucy, Betsy and Frances. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
