Peter Whittle

Peter was born about 1887 in Aspull, Wigan, Lancashire.¹ Peter's father was Michael J. Whittle and his mother was Ellen Fearnley. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Whittle and Mary (Whittle); his maternal grandparents were John Fearnley and Unknown. He had a brother named Edward. He was the older of the two children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, John, James, Mary, Jane, Mary and Ann.
